What to expect

Sunrise Counselling aims to provide you with a clear and thoughtful experience from the moment you make your first contact to the end of the work we do together. Below is a guide of what you can expect from your time with Sunrise Counselling.

  1. You make contact with me. (I aim to reply within three working days)
  2. I provide further information so you can decide if you'd like to have an initial session with me.
  3. If you would like an initial session then we decide on a day and time to meet in person or remotely.
  4. Initial session - An opportunity to meet one another and decide how best we can work together.
  5. If we decide to book further sessions, then a counselling agreement is made between us. This would include any goals you'd like to set yourself, financial agreement, confidentiality, method of counselling etc.
  6. Our work will continue as long as you feel you would like to. I offer both short-term (minimum of six weeks) and long-term therapy. Each session is 50 minutes.
